Sow free range mode
The intelligent sow herd rearing mode is mainly controlled by computer software, with one or more feeding stations as control terminals. The scanner collects sows' identity information according to the electronic ear tags worn on sows' ears, calculates the daily supply of sows according to the scientific formula, and controls the mechanical and electrical actuator to accurately feed. The controller transmits the identity of sows, feed intake, feeding time and other information to the computer through wireless mode, and the computer software makes statistics and analysis of the data, so that the pig farm managers can conveniently view the information of each pig, so as to achieve accurate feeding and data management of sows.
Sow free range breeding is to allow sows after mating to be able to move freely, reduce the hoof disease of sows, reduce the rate of stillbirth, reduce dystocia rate, increase the service life of sows.
1. Limit bar + electronic feeding station
Features: Gilts or pregnant sows are fed in restricted stalls for the first 5 weeks after mating, and pregnant sows are accurately fed in electronic feeding stations from 6 weeks to 5 days before birth bed. One ESF can manage 60-80 sows.
Advantages: stable embryo in the early stage of mating, reduce sow abortion; Ensure sow feeding time to achieve accurate feeding.
2. Feeding in the whole process in the electronic feeding station
Characteristics: Sows are fed in electronic feeding stations throughout their gestation, suitable for large pig farms.
Advantages: This model is ideal, which not only can achieve accurate feeding in free-range breeding, but also avoids moving from group to group. The social relationship of sows is mature, and the stress of group to group is reduced.
3. Small circle electronic feeding station + limit bar
Characteristics: Sows with similar mating period, similar weight and size and little difference in temperament are raised in the same pen, with 5-20 sows in each pen, and are moved to the limit column for feeding in the late gestation. No feeding pressure.
Advantages: The free movement of sows is guaranteed, the stillbirth rate is reduced, the dystocia rate is low, and the service life is increased. However, this feeding mode will lead to the uneven feeding in the early stage of the pig.
